My transformation journey…
When I embarked on my journey into motherhood, I was filled with excitement and anticipation for the arrival of my first child. I knew my life would change as a first time mom, but no one prepared me for what I was about to experience. I never imagined that I was about to go through a profound full life transformation. As if becoming a new mom, adjusting to my changed body, balancing work, marriage, and self-care wasn’t challenging enough, on top of all that, I was also struggling with postpartum depression. It took me two months before I even recognized that something was off. I missed the early signs but when things became overwhelming, I knew I needed to seek help immediately.
As I navigated my own transformation, I developed a deep passion for helping others through their own challenges. I realized that this was my true life calling. Experiencing the darkness first hand allowed me to truly understand and empathize with others, and I knew I had to use my journey to support and guide them.
With this newfound purpose, I started a mom club in my community to provide support and bring awareness. Based on my own experience, I discovered that postpartum depression is still a taboo subject. Many women don’t feel confident asking for help or even talking about their struggles with postpartum, due to the lack of support and information.
My goal is to create a safe and open environment where we can discuss all aspects of motherhood, the good, the bad, the ugly and all the things we never anticipated. I want to bring awareness and provide support to all women at every stage of their journey. Whether you are planning to become a mother, are pregnant and feeling uncertain, a new mom struggling with your new identity and overwhelming emotions, or a mother of multiple children who has always put her family first and neglected her own needs, I want to help you discover your purpose, aspirations, and become the best version of yourself.
As someone who is still traveling along the journey, it is important for me to share my story with other women to provide hope and inspiration. I want you to know you are not alone, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Motherhood can feel very lonely and dark, but it is also the most beautiful, rewarding, greatest accomplishment you will ever experience. Together, we can support each other and find the light.
